Podcast Production
Once upon a time, I fell in love with audio storytelling, and I consumed a lot of podcasts before embarking on my own journey. While I appreciate the monetization juggernaut that podcasting has become, I entered the area with a different goal—to simply have interesting conversations with interesting people.
I think podcasts are a brilliant method to engage the community, and I continue to appreciate the medium. To date, I have appeared on over 125 episodes, 11 different series, and offered creative input to many more.
In 2014, I co-founded Dial Up Movies on the NeoZAZ podcast network. A long-format show that explored the classic movies of the 1990s, the show produced 30 episodes of nostalgic fun. Some of the movies discussed are True Lies, Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead, and The Matrix.
I Have Questions was a show run by NeoZAZ founder Matt Hunsworth. For the entirety of 2016, Matt produced a short, weekly show answering one question he was curious about. After that year, he decided to retire from the show, and I offered to pick up hosting duties for 2017. It was a personal quest for consistency that wasn’t entirely successful. I made it half the year before life took over in a negative way, but I was proud of my contributions.
